Binder Lettering

Hello All

It’s Glen here with a project that I’ve been trying to get to for a long time. I have several of Tim Holtz’s
Stamp Binders and I always get them mixed up but now I’ve started the solution to this problem. I’ve taken some of the grunge lettering and using the Best Glue Ever, I adhered some tissue paper to each letter and let them dry.

I added some Distress paint and allowed to dry before using the Best Glue Ever to place them on the spine of my binder. I had to jumble the letters a bit to fit the spine but I am pleased with the results.

So here is the finished project that looks good and helps me work faster at a glance. Thanks for stopping in today and don’t forget to visit the ScraPerfect website for great products to make scrapping BETTER!

Recollections Photo Box-Part 1

Hi Folks
This is Glen here with an exciting new project which will take a few posts to get to the reveal but it will be worth it in my opinion. This is the second photo box I’m making, the first being a Christmas box I did before I was a member of this team.

Thin line of glue is all you need.

I am using the Best Glue Ever to adhere paper elements to my project, having already adhered the large pieces of paper to the lid and sides a long time ago I have the fun now of inking and detailing. Which is also the best part of any project.

Best Glue Indeed!

I fussy cut the old camera and glue it to another paper to give the back some interest as well. Why? you ask. I could tell you but that would spoil the post

This is another great use for Embellie Gellie!

I continue using the Best Glue Ever to add more elements to my box and the No-Clog Writing Cap is the key to great and easy work.

Stay tuned for more pics and follow the progress of this project in the coming weeks. Thanks for stopping by and check out the others work on this blog.

The Little Things

Hey All

Between last night and tonight I made these fantastic Halloween tickets. I used little stamp sets by Studio G that I got on clearance and after doing three I had a genius attack. I left the tear off piece on the tag and made a little stand! In the photo it looks like the pads are holding it up, but they’re not! I used Distress ink and had a blast while listening to Rilo Kiley. Check em out.

Some Older Work = Oct 10th 2013

Here is a couple of albums I made back in 2011, I used Ideaology Fragments and 6×6 My Minds Eye papers and some old papers to decorate two of them and the Steampunk album has an embossed skull, playing cards, K & Co, Tim Holtz and old embellishments from Life’s Journey stuff I had from years ago before I was a scrapper/artist.

I hope you like em.

Welcome To My Journey’s

Hello All

I am starting this Blog to document my sojourn into the world of paper art: which covers scrap booking, altered art, card-making, altered books, art journals, and my own special interest, fictional art books. This is a hobby for many and an art form for others but like photography; which is often overlooked by the art world, our paper art is not respected as anything more than a craft in my experience of it. I would like to change all that and I know that it’s a tall order to give myself but like a stamp I have says…”Dreams are meant to be big, so we can grow into them” In this very tough year of my life…I need to hold on to that idea.

Peace

Glen
